Our school has many years of experience teaching water sports, especially surfing. KITESURF 313 offers surf lessons for all ages and skill levels, led by highly professional instructors certified by the Canary Islands Surfing Federation.

We are located in the area of El MEDANO, widely known as one of the best places to surf in the CANARY ISLANDS, thanks to its variety of beaches and diverse surf SPOTS.
SPOT:
In El Médano, we have different beaches suited to different skill levels;

What does the surf course include?
LAND AND WATER PRACTICES
For beginners before entering the sea, we will learn the different parts of the surfboard and their functions, get to know the beach and its waves, cover basic safety concepts (breakers, currents, etc.), and practice surfing techniques: paddling on the board, getting past the breakers, and, most importantly, catching a wave.
CATCHING THE WAVE
We will expand our knowledge of safety and work on improving surfing techniques, including positioning, balance on the board, turns, and starting to practice take-offs on the whitewater, while continuing to refine our take-offs beyond the whitewater.
WE'RE SURFING
We will continue practicing our take-off but this time, outside the whitewater zone, surfing either to the right or left depending on the direction the waves break.

What happens if there is no wind for the course?
That hardly ever happens in El Médano. There are 300 windy days per year, and you still have a 100% guarantee.
If the course cannot be completed due to weather or other circumstances, we will refund the cost of any hours you did not take.
Do I need to bring anything for the course?
We provide all the necessary equipment and materials.
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, beachwear, and lots of enthusiasm to have fun and learn.

FROM WHAT AGE CAN CHILDREN START KITESURFING?
It is recommended that children start kitesurfing from 12 years old.
